Join Moon Essense Designs at Arts in Central Park! Now in its 49th year, this Decatur, Illinois juried art show is one of the finest in the state. Located in the heart of downtown Decatur, beautiful (and shaded!) Central Park is home to the historic Transfer House and a magnificent fountain.

Free art lessons online at Arty Factory. This is an amazing resource. While it’s not a comprehensive degree program (those cost money, of course!), this has great material for everyone from the wanna-be artist to art teachers, to home schoolers.

Celebration 2011

Join the party at Celebration 2011! Now in its 34th year, this annual fine arts fair welcomes a wide array of artisans selling hand-crafted works of art ranging from jewelry and stoneware to paintings and sculptures. Celebration also offers a wide range of arts activities for all ages. The festival includes a children’s art area, demonstrations, an International Fair, storytelling, a delicious lineup of food vendors, and lots of live music.

Be on the creative side of the tracks! Join Moon Essense Designs at the 12th annual Arts on the Green, a fine arts and crafts festival, in LaGrange, Kentucky! LaGrange Courthouse square comes to life with original, handcrafted painting/drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewelry, mixed media, consumables, metal and wood, and fiber, juried in by artists, business associates and art enthusiasts.

Around the courthouse, 104 E Main St, LaGrange, Kentucky. 22 miles NE of Louisville

Things to See And Do:

Over 120 booths of juried fine arts and crafts set on the Oldham Co. Courthouse square. Quality and varied artists, huge shade trees and the charming town make this a popular show for buyers from a tri-state area. Interesting shops and eateries in the Historic shopping district, all within 3 blocks. The train still runs down the center of Main Street.

Effingham Artisan Fair

Come and join us for the Sixth Annual Effingham Artisan Fair! The fair turns downtown Effingham into an art gallery for residents and visitors to enjoy! Work from over 40 artists from across the region will be on display for purchase, including oil paintings, pottery, sculptures, and of course – jewelry and home accessories from Moon Essense Designs!

On the lawn of the historic Effingham County Courthouse
In case of rain, the show will take place indoors at Village Square Mall

Sample wine from one of nine area wineries
Visit Kids Korner. Children are invited to come and explore the arts, get their faces painted, bounce in the bounce house, and more!
Spring into Action and take part in this 5K run/walk, with proceeds going to proceeds going to CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates.
Listen to live music on the square!
Sample local cuisine from Firefly Grill, Homewood Grill, and Martin’s IGA
